Residential housing: an increased market share in a recession
In a difficult economic climate, Bouygues Immobilier has once again outperformed the market thanks to its highly focused market positioning, the diversification of its distribution channels, a strong increase in off-plan sales and a dynamic sales policy.
Its residential market share in France has increased by 0.4 percentage points to 10.1%.
Commercial property: flat growth
The commercial market (offices and commercial premises) remained lacklustre in 2009 as a result of the twofold effect of the decline in take-up and the higher yields demanded by investors.
In this unfavourable context, Bouygues Immobilier recorded take-up of 152 million euros for sales of 0.9 billion euros.
Work is ongoing on projects such the Mozart & Eqwater in Issy-les-Moulineaux, Farman, Banque Postale in Paris and the Green Office, a positive energy commercial building in Meudon.
